Site admin console
For the people who run a Round Table server: people, teams, plans, announcements and maintenance mode.
Site admins are set by whoever runs the server. Once you are one, Admin console appears at the bottom of the sidebar. Everyone else who opens it sees a short note instead.
Overview
Totals for people, teams and boards, how new people get going, whether maintenance mode is on, and how many gallery templates wait for review. The API reference link is here too; only site admins can open it.
People
Search by name or email and filter by active or disabled. Each person's menu has two actions.
- Sign out everywhere ends every device session they have, on the web and in the app.
- Disable account signs them out, stops their API tokens and refuses every way of signing in until you enable it again. Their boards stay as they are. Site admins cannot be disabled here.
You see names, emails and counts, never what is on anyone's boards.
Announcements
Write a title, an optional message and link, pick a tone, and optionally upload a picture or video (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, MP4 or WebM, up to 50 MB). Set a start time to schedule it and an end time to stop it on its own, or end it by hand.
Each person sees an announcement once. A text one shows as a banner above their workspace; one with a picture or video opens as a window. They never interrupt a board or a call, and they reach the mobile app too.
Maintenance mode
Turn it on before an upgrade. Everyone except site admins sees a maintenance screen with your message and expected end time, on the web and in the app. Signing in keeps working so admins can get in. Turn it off and open pages come back by themselves within a minute.
Write the expected end time in the message too if it might slip; the screen checks again every minute.
Plans
Plans set what organizations can use. Each has a price (per seat or flat, monthly or yearly, in a currency Paystack supports) and optional limits on members, guests, workspaces, files, AI requests and recording minutes a month; an empty limit means no limit. Organizations without a plan of their own are on the default plan, which starts with no limits.
- New plan, or Edit on a plan, to change its price, limits and whether organizations can choose it themselves.
- Retire a plan by turning off Active; organizations on it keep it until they change.
- On Teams, Plan puts one organization on any plan by hand, with an optional seat count and end date, for invoiced customers, trials and nonprofits.
- Owners pay for public plans through Paystack when the server has a Paystack secret key; without one, plans are still enforced and only you can change them.
Audit log
Every change made in the console is recorded with who made it and when: disabling, enabling and signing out people, announcements, uploads and maintenance mode. Entries cannot be edited or removed.
