Planning on the board

Views: canvas, outline, board, timeline and contents

See the same plan as a canvas, a nested outline, a kanban board, a timeline or a list of everything.

The view switcher in the top bar shows the same board in different ways. Changes in one view appear in all of them.

• Canvas: the free-form board.
• Outline: every card as a nested list. Type to add, indent to nest.
• Board: kanban columns by status or by phase. Drag cards between columns.
• Timeline: dated cards on a calendar. See Timeline and what if.
• Contents: everything on the board, including notes, shapes, files and links, as a searchable list or grid. Show on canvas jumps to it.

The plan bar

The plan bar on the left counts each kind of card. Click a kind to highlight those cards. Fold it to icons for more room.
